A Beautiful World
The Coral Triangle is the most amazing ocean expanse on the planet. Imagine one billion football fields (nearly six million square kilometres) that span across the seas of six countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste. All kinds of corals, fish, and other sea creatures, big and small, live here. Dolphins, whale sharks, manta rays, dugongs, and turtles all call this wonderful place their home.

The Coral Triangle is also called the “Nursery of the Seas”, where baby fish are born. This is where most of the fish we eat comes from. Many fishers come here to catch fish to sell in the market.
