How to be a Wildlife Photographer
MEET AN ACCOMPLISHED PHOTOGRAPHER WHO LIVES IN THE SMALL GARDEN CITY OF SINGAPORE!
by Mary Chin
Want to be a wildlife photographer, but don’t live near a jungle or
rainforest? Don’t give up on your dream just yet. There is someone who
lives in the small city of Singapore and still manages to take wonderful
pictures of the wild. She is CS Ling, 24 years old.
Her fascination with animals started with a book on land and sea
creatures that her grandfather gave to her when she was a child.
From then, it evolved into a passion for wildlife and nature. Over the
past three years, Ling has captured the images of many beautiful and
endangered species. She even had her own solo photography exhibition
last year.
Amongst Ling’s most memorable photographs are those of her
favourite animal, the giant panda. She went on an exciting journey up
treacherous mountains in Sichuan, China, to shoot these pictures and
even got to see 17 newborn panda cubs.
Want to create your own little adventures? Here’s how you can start!
